CCC/ 3C Certification in China
What is CCC Certification?
CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is a safety and quality mark required by Chinese law for certain products that are manufactured for and sold within mainland China. It ensures that products meet Chinese national standards for consumer safety.
SnapWireless products are manufactured in China but are sold exclusively outside of China, so they are not required to carry CCC certification under Chinese domestic regulations. This is standard for export-only goods.
⚠️ Important for Travellers to China ⚠️
As of June 28, 2025, China has implemented a regulation that only permits power banks with the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) logo to be brought on board domestic Chinese flights. This rule applies to all travellers — including international visitors flying within mainland China.
✈️ What you need to know:
✅ CCC certification is now mandatory for power banks on domestic flights within China
🚫 This rule does not apply to:
International flights arriving in or departing from China
Flights between Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau (considered international routes)
We strongly recommend exercising caution. If you’re travelling within China, you may wish to leave your power bank at home or travel at your own risk, as confiscation is possible — even if the product meets international safety standards.
Will you offer CCC-certified versions in the future?
We are currently exploring the option to produce CCC-certified versions of our products for customers travelling through China.
We’ll keep our community updated if and when this becomes available.
